EVER27 formed in Mullingar in 2009 as a high-energy, full-on mainstream rock band with sparkling songs. Their dynamic live presence can encompass a variety of unpredictable visual elements, including fireworks and fire dancers, or whatever their fiendishly inventive minds choose to spring on you!
Another key aspect to Ever27, one that sets them apart from their contemporaries and gives them their sharp edge, is the fact that all four members write the songs. They’ve already built an enthusiastic fan base in the midlands and are now tooling up to spread the world to the rest of the galaxy.
LINE-UP:
Brendan McEvoy (Vocals, Guitar)
The Laoisman formerly fronted the much-admired Mesner, with whom he recorded 2 albums. McEvoy has a powerhouse voice that is at once expressive and full of raw rock emotion, and has earned him comparisons with Jim Morrison and Nick Cave.
Paul Feery (Guitar)
Originally from Westmeath, he’s been embedded in the Midlands music scene for well over a decade. His guitar playing married his obvious love for the guitar greats from rock history with his own unique twist.
Tanya O’Callaghan (Bass)
Studied Bass at New Park Music College. Worked as a busy session bassist with various RTE programmes. Tanya recorded in the US with the lead singer from Tool and on her return met up with Brendan and they formed Ever27.
Eoin ‘Pony’ Fitzsimons (Drums)
Ask him how he picked up the nickname and he’ll have a different explanation every day! He and lead guitarist Feery played together in the band waiting to Explode.
